Convert your previously published print book to an e-book in .epub file. The client provides an interior file in .doc or .docx format,  as well as the cover in JPEG and PDF format. Additional information may be required from the client. Interior and cover files are uploaded to KDP. Service does not include edits, proofreading, formatting, cover design, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN. A KDP account will be required. Any additional services (edits, formatting, cover design, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN*) will incur a charge at the current prices in effect at the time. Be aware that a rejection by KDP will most likely require editing, reformatting, and/or editing the cover design to resolve error messages. Price does not include tax or processing.

A KDP account is required. Service does not include edits, formatting, cover design, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN. Edits, formatting, cover design, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN* will incur a charge at the current price. Client agrees to add TJSPH’s provided business information (business name and contact information) on the copyright page of the published book. Price does not include tax or processing.

• Multiple versions of some images (e.g., different poses or variations in facial expressions for characters) may be requested to give flexibility in how they're used.

• Color Variations: While primarily hand-drawn, some illustrations could offer colorized versions to provide more options, depending on whether they want to use them in black and white or in full color.

• Illustrations for Branding: A selection of iconic images or logos that can be used for the publisher’s branding, website, or promotional materials. Think about simple, recognizable motifs like quills, books, or other literary objects.

Licensing/Use Guidelines

• The illustrations come with clear usage rights, indicating whether they can be used for both commercial and non-commercial projects. This would ensure the author and publisher know they have the rights to use the illustrations in various print and digital formats.

• It might also include a style guide or suggestions for best practices in terms of how to integrate the artwork into book layouts, cover designs, or promotional material.

COVER DESIGN PACKAGE:

A cover artist will create a book cover for your book based on its dimensions. There is a limit of three (3) revisions. The cover artist will make suggestions for your font, layout, color scheme, and more to help reflect your book's topic, intensity, and audience. Client is responsible for any additional costs for fonts, images, licenses, etc., used in the cover design. This includes costs for fonts, images, licenses, etc., that were in a previous design, but not in the final approved design. Client owns the final design. Any other designs may be purchased at the cover artist’s purchase price. Service does not include edits, formatting, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN*. Any additional services (edits, formatting, interior setup, print book setup, or ISBN) will incur a charge at the current prices in effect at the time. Client agrees to add cover artist information (artist’s provided business name and contact information) on the copyright page of any work utilizing the design. Includes three (3) rounds of cover design mockups. Price does not include tax or processing.

Client is responsible for obtaining copyright for all incomplete and/or complete works submitted to TJSPH. Learn more here: https://www.copyright.gov/registration/. Client is responsible for obtaining and providing trademarks, proof of ownership, and/or documentation of permission to use for all incomplete and/or complete works submitted to TJSPH prior to publishing. This includes song lyrics, poetry, cover design elements, or any other elements Clients requests to be included in the final Book. Undocumented works will not be published. Client must own all parts of the Book submitted for publishing. TJSPH is not liable and is held harmless for plagiarism, copyright, and/or trademark infringement or other illegal activity performed knowingly or unknowingly by Client.

 

Client agrees to allow TJSPH to act on their behalf for account creation for Amazon and/or Kindle Direct Publishing. Client is responsible for reviewing and agreeing to all terms of use, membership agreements, and privacy policies listed below, as well as any additional policies regarding services performed by TJSPH within this agreement. TJSPH is not liable and is held harmless for actions taken by KDP/Amazon or others while performing Services or changes requested by Client, which includes any actions requested or deemed necessary by Client to publish Book through Client’s KDP/Amazon account.

Client agrees to add TJSPH’s provided business information (business name and contact information) on the copyright page of the published book in all formats. Client agrees to the use of Client’s book cover image, author image, website, or book link, QR code, reviews on TJSPH website, social media sites, email, and anywhere TJSPH sees fit for the promotion of Client’s Book and/or advertisement for TJSPH.

 

Client will be advised of all upcoming actions to be performed on their account. The client may retract this option at any time in writing to TJSPH via email. The Client is responsible for staying up to date on any policy changes agreed to within this agreement, as well as any changes or updates to the TJSPH site. Client is responsible for the purchase, shipping, and/or any fees incurred for all book copies.

 

TJSPH may make suggestions to Client during communications. Client may disregard suggestions at any time. TJSPH is not responsible for the consequences of Client refusing to abide by suggestions. This includes, but is not limited to, suggested classes, services, courses of action, warnings, legal advisement, etc.

Client is responsible for adhering to all deadlines, requirements, and/or instructions from TJSPH. Failing to adhere to the deadlines may result in a delayed publication date. TJSPH is not responsible for any loss, damage, or negative action as a result of Client not adhering to dates, not meeting requirements, and/or not following instructions from TJSPH or any party involved in the production/publishing process. In such situations, Client’s publishing date will be rescheduled at the discretion of TJSPH. Client is responsible for staying abreast of all closings, hours of operations, and delays via email and/or the TJSPH website, www.tjspublishinghouse.com.

 

TJSPH shall be held harmless and is not responsible for legal or other action taken by a third party against the Client regarding any portion of the book, including, but not limited to, fonts, cover, interior, images, ownership, printing, production, copyright, trademark, ISBN, etc., of any portion of the book submitted to TJSPH to complete Services for Client.
